On 15th August 2025, the Dawoodi Bohra community members across India chose to celebrate freedom in a unique way – by giving back to the earth.

From young children placing their first saplings into the soil, to elders watering and caring for trees already standing tall, everyone came together with one shared dream, a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Across 103 centers, over 2000+ new trees were planted and more than 6000+ existing ones were lovingly nurtured.

It was more than just planting trees, it was about people joining hands, volunteers mobilizing the members, and entire communities striving to make a difference. And when so many hearts work together, real magic happens, the air feels fresher, the streets look brighter, and hope takes root. 

This might seem like a small step, but it shows how powerful small acts can be. Guided by the vision of our 53rd leader His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the Dawoodi Bohra community is working towards a greener future. Because every sapling planted today is a gift of shade, clean air, and life for generations to come.
