A transformative rainwater harvesting project was completed in the rural village of Talaipada, Dahanu district, home to approximately 350 residents. Facing acute water scarcity, villagers previously walked 3–4 km daily to meet basic water needs.

To address this, Burhani Foundation constructed a 3 lakh-litre ground reservoir, ensuring a sustainable water supply for 60 to 90 days during peak summer months.
