Eco-Tourism at Rajmachi
As part of its Environmental Study Tours, Burhani Foundation organized immersive reforestation and educational treks to Rajmachi, Khandala on 11th August 2018 and 26th February 2019, aiming to cultivate environmental awareness among students. Participants learned about native flora, fauna, and the significance of tree plantation. Over 1,000 medicinal plants were introduced during the trek.

On 16th June 2021, Burhani Foundation Trustees visited the Rajmachi site in the Western Ghats to assess the three-year reforestation progress and discuss future strategies. Focus areas included biodiversity mapping, water conservation methods, and developing the site into an environmental education hub.
